Meet an Olinguito

 

Over the last few weeks a selected group of kids have been doing some extension homework. We had to do a few different things including:

v Listen to Iris's Ukulele and then write a paragraph about it.

v Write an article for the kiwikidsnews website.

v Write a letter to the editor.

I wrote my article for the website on Olinguitos. If you want to you can look at it using the hyperlink I put on.

I found a few mistakes in it when it got posted.

It took me a very long time to do my draft, probably about 4 days. I did it 2 weeks ago but it only got published last night! I forgot to put in both a title and a picture but the editor was good and he put them both in for me. The other people in the group are ready for theirs to be published but they haven’t sent them in yet. Nand’s is about the Seddon earthquake,  Zoe’s is about the White Island eruption. Isabella’s is about the casualties of the Cairo museum robbery and Kiki’s  is about a dog saving a cat with its  blood.
